Sustainability has a communication challenge. Across Africa, businesses are investing in cleaner technologies, improving resource efficiency, developing skills and supporting communities.
Yet many of these stories remain untold, buried in technical reports or communicated in ways that fail to connect with the people they matter to.
I believe sustainability communications should do more than celebrate commitments. They should make progress understandable, demonstrate evidence, acknowledge challenges and build meaningful stakeholder trust.
My interest lies in bringing the disciplines of marketing, strategic communications and sustainability together to help bridge the gap between what organisations do and what their stakeholders understand.
Grounded in over two decades of communications experience and further strengthened by my Business Sustainability Management qualification from the University of Cambridge, this is a space in which I continue to learn, contribute and build expertise.
